Detailed Description:

(અંગ્રેજી / अंग्रेज़ी / English)

As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust and Dikranu Ghar (Old Age Home) on September 25, 2024, we reflect on a journey filled with compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to serving those in need. For a decade, these organizations have been beacons of hope, touching countless lives and making a profound impact on our community.

This milestone is a testament to the vision of our Founder and Chairman, Joshi Lakhiram Joshi, affectionately known as Manu Maharaj. And our Secretary, Bharti Joshi, and the commitment of everyone involved. Our work is deeply rooted in Sanatan Dharma principles, ensuring that no one in need is left behind.

A Journey of Service Since 2014

Established on September 25, 2014, and officially registered on March 11, 2016, Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust began with a simple but profound mission: to serve humanity and uplift the most vulnerable members of society—elderly people, impoverished children, and neglected animals. Over the last 10 years, this mission has grown, helping thousands of people and countless animals, while also creating jobs and ensuring dignity for everyone touched by our work.

A Legacy of Love and Care

Founded on September 25, 2014, and officially registered on March 11, 2016, Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust has grown from a vision of service into a thriving reality. Under the visionary leadership of our Chairman and Founder, Joshi Lakhiram Joshi, also known as Manu Maharaj, and with the dedicated support of our Secretary, Bharti Joshi, Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust has become synonymous with selfless service and community welfare.

Dikranu Ghar (Old Age Home): A Haven for the Elderly

Dikranu Ghar, a vital part of Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust, provides a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for elderly individuals who have no one to turn to. Our dedicated staff, working tirelessly with love and compassion, ensure these elders live with the dignity they deserve.

Dikranu Ghar, our cherished Old Age Home, stands as a testament to our commitment to the elderly. As of September 25, 2025, we are proud to provide a loving home to 135 senior citizens who might otherwise have nowhere to turn. Our dedicated staff of 20 employees works tirelessly to ensure that each resident receives the care, respect, and dignity they deserve.

The story of Dikranu Ghar (Old Age Home) is one of both joy and poignance. We've celebrated countless birthdays, shared innumerable meals, and created a family for those who felt they had none. At the same time, we've stood by our residents in their final moments, ensuring that even in death, they are treated with the utmost respect. Our hearts are heavy yet full as we remember the 59 souls we've helped transition to their final rest, performing the last rites according to Hindu traditions aka Sanatan Dharm traditions when their own families could not or would not.

We ensured they were honored with the proper rituals, following the teachings of Sanatan Dharm aka Hinduism, as a final act of love and respect.

Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust: Nourishing Bodies and Souls

Since its inception, Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust has been committed to eradicating hunger in Nadiad, Gujarat, India, and its surrounding areas. Our free food program, which employs 35 dedicated individuals, has become a lifeline for many. From morning breakfast to dinner, we ensure that no one in our community goes to bed hungry.

Employment and Growth: Creating Opportunities for All

Together, Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust and Dikranu Ghar (Old Age Home) provides employment to 55 individuals, offering not just jobs, but careers filled with purpose. We take immense pride in caring for our employees as we do for those we serve. Each of them receives free meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—every single day, and 100% of their salary is theirs; no deductions are made for the care they receive. This commitment to our staff reflects our deep belief that those who serve others must also be cared for.

Looking to the future, our expansion plans include the construction of a new premise in Dabhan, a village near Nadiad. This new facility will be a sanctuary not just for elderly people but also for animals. Unlike typical animal shelters that focus on productive animals like cows or dogs for security, our sanctuary will provide care for all creatures, expecting nothing in return. We believe that animals are companions to humans, and by protecting them, we honor the balance of life.

Feeding the Hungry: Food Distribution Since Day One

Since the very first day, September 25, 2014, Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust has distributed free food to the needy in Nadiad, Gujarat, India and surrounding areas. Our food trucks, which provide warm, healthy meals, have become a symbol of hope for the poor, the homeless, and anyone struggling to get by. This service continues to grow, and with the ongoing support of our generous donors and partners, we aim to expand our reach even further. Currently, we employ 35 individuals dedicated to this effort, and their work is not just about feeding people—it’s about feeding souls.

Endless Compassion for Animals and People Alike

Compassion is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it's helping a homeless person get a warm meal, offering a safe haven for the elderly, or providing sanctuary to animals, Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust and Dikranu Ghar (Old Age Home) will continue their work for generations to come. Our commitment to the community is steadfast and eternal, just as the trust and faith placed in us by our supporters are unshakable.

Expanding Our Reach: The New Dabhan Premises

As we look to the future, we're excited about our expansion into Dabhan village of Nadiad city in Gujarat, India. This new facility will not only allow us to serve more elderly individuals but will also include a unique animal sanctuary. Unlike traditional sanctuaries, our animal home will care for all creatures, regardless of their utility to humans. We believe in the intrinsic value of all life and the companionship between humans and animals.

Gratitude to Our Donors and Supporters

None of this would have been possible without the generous contributions of our donors  and our supporters, who have stood by us through thick and thin. Your donations have allowed us to expand our facilities, improve the quality of life for our residents and employees, and offer services that touch lives in profound ways. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our cause and for helping us continue this important work.

Looking to the Future: Expanding Our Reach

As we look to the future, the expansion of our facilities in Dabhan will generate even more employment opportunities and extend our capacity to help more people and animals. With every passing year, Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust and Dikranu Ghar (Old Age Home) grow stronger, more capable, and more determined to serve those in need.

With Manu Maharaj’s vision and leadership, and the unwavering support of Bharti Joshi, the Secretary of Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust, we are confident that our journey of service has only just begun. Our new projects and services will reach even further, helping those who have nowhere else to turn. We are humbled by the trust placed in us and remain committed to providing unconditional support to every individual and every animal that comes into our care.

To our residents, our employees, our volunteers, our donors and our supporters – Thank You. You are the heart and soul of Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust and Dikranu Ghar (Old Age Home). Together, we have written a decade-long story of love, compassion, and service. And together, we look forward to many more years of making a difference, one life at a time.

As we blow out the candles on our 10th-anniversary cake, we make a wish – a wish for a world where no elderly person feels abandoned, where no one goes to bed hungry, and where the bonds between humans and animals are cherished. With your continued support, we know this wish can become a reality.

Join Us in This Journey of Service

As we celebrate this milestone, we invite you to be a part of our journey. Whether through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, your support helps us make a difference. Together, we can continue to uplift the lives of those who need it the most and ensure that the legacy of Jay Manav Seva Parivar Trust (JMSP) and Dikranu Ghar (Old Age Home) lives on forever.
Let’s work hand in hand to create a world where no one is left behind, and where love, compassion, and humanity guide our every action.

Here's to ten years of service, and to many, many more.

Happy Anniversary, Jay Manav Seva Parivar (JMSP) Trust and Dikranu Ghar (Old Age Home)!
